Coffee cuts Prostate Cancer risk

Regular Coffee Consumption Can Reduce Risk of Prostate Cancer in healthy males. The U.S. is responsible for more than a third of coffee consumption worldwide peaking at 400 million cups every single day, and studies show that Coffee Consumption is not only a goot part of a healthy diet, but "Overall, the research shows that coffee is far more healthful than it is harmful,” says Dr. Tomas DePaulis, research scientist at Vanderbilt University’s Institute for Coffee Studies.



A study by researchers from the Channing Laboratory at the Harvard Medical School and the Harvard School of Public Health, was based on an analysis of information from the Health Professionals’ Follow-Up Study, which included data on the coffee-drinking habits of about 50,000 men from 1986 to 2006. The men who drank the most coffee (six or more cups per day) were nearly 60 percent less likely to develop advanced prostate cancer. I'll have another cup!

Pumpkins could cut your cancer risk. They are high in caretenoids, which prevent breast cancer and fight against lung cancer. The spicy and raw orange properties are very helpful in proper diet nutrition, bascially anything with a darker colour is.

Pumpkins fill you up with very little calories, and even contain bone-building properties with high amounts of calcium. So next time you're at a restaruant, order some pumpkins pie, ice cream or ask for a salad with the glorious orange pumpkin in it. Happy dieting!

Out of the many species of fish found in the aquatic world (just over 25,000) the most commonly found in supermarkets are Tuna, Salmon and Sardines.  Eating these fish helps promotes healthy living, diet and nutrition, and reduce the risk of cancer, heart disease, Alzheimer's, diabetes, as well as stroke and arthritis. Fatty varieties of fish may also help reduce depression. The American Heart Association recommends that healthy adults eat at least one to two fish meals weekly, especially sardines, which are easy to find in supermarkets, wild salmon, and european herring, because these varieties of fish provide the most omega 3 fatty acids that promote healty diet. Try to avoid mercury-containing fish varieties like king mackerel, tilefish, and albacore tuna but Chunk Light tuna is okay.

Chocolate Lovers Are In For A Treat!

According to studies, chocolate supposedly is good for you, particularly the dark kinds. Dark chocolate contains four times the amount of catechin antioxidants than black tea, known for having a protective effects against heart disease and even cancer!





After being analyzed by researchers for the amount of catechin that chocolate and tea contains. They found that dark chocolate contains the most out of all. Milk chocolate on the other hand contains a bit more than black tea. While taking tests and analyzing the intake of food in males and females. They have discovered that percentage of tea consumption overwhelms the chocolate intake, Tea being 55% and chocolate 20%.


While chocolate contains high levels of fat and sugar, on occasion it wouldn't be too bad to team up the two, perhaps it would do you some good :)
