Avoid eggs / high cholesterol at Breakfast

>> Sunday, May 23, 2010

gh-cholesterol foods present high numbers. Managing your cholesterol is an essential way of controlling your diet, and health. The American Heart Association recommends a maximum daily intake of 300 mg of cholesterol daily. If your doctor has said you have high-cholesterol already, you need to stay below 200 mg. One particuarily high cholesterol food is eggs. Having an egg for breakfast already gives you up to 212 mg of cholesterol. So, as an alternative, try whole-grain cereal with fruit or some yogurt.

You might want to have 1 or two eggs sunny side up for Lunch, or at dinner as egg salad. That will give you protein.

That is your daily tip for healthy living. Remember, your "diet day" is today!
